Question about 1995 Jeep Cherokee
The first concern is that you would be getting a car 9 years older than yours. Is the vehicle mileage similar? Can you deal with the steering and other controls on the wrong side? I'd guess that the fuel mileage would be worse with the jeep. The headlight swap would be little problem. Have you looked into any parts procurement problems? Would local mechanics balk at repairing a non-French vehicle? This is a pre-OBD-2 emission specification vehicle if that matters. Being a Jeep, it may have been used roughly. If none of this matters much, go for it!
