how to remove old shackles and install new lift shackles in my drive way on a 2005 ford ranger 4x4

- i can't lift high enough to remove bottom shackle bolt because of the bummper support bracket

You need two jacks and jack stands (for safety while you are working under the truck)--one jack to lift the truck frame and the other to lift the axle to take the load off of the spring. Do only one side at a time.

- The appropriate response is to remove the offending bumper bracket. You could rent one of those mechanical 'farm' jacks that can jack up several feet.
