Question about 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt

2006 chevy cobalt rear driving lights dont work. The signals work and brake lights work, but not the driving.

No brake, turn signal, or flashers at rear of 2006 chevy express 2500


Sounds like a bad turn signal switch. I bet if you wiggle the turn signal lever while you have your foot on the brake pedal the left and right brake lights ill intermittently work.

How do I replace my rear turn signal? I have a 4 door 2006 chevy cobalt. Owner's manual isn't very clear. I have the carpet pulled back an the knut off the screw, but I can't get the light off the car to...


To my knowledge there is one screw you need to remove after you pull the carpet back (the one you took off), there are two more screws you undo from the outside of the car with the trunk open. Hope this helps.

Brakes Lights dont work on a 2006 Chevy Silverado


I've worked on these the first drove me crazy. its the turn signal switch every thing runs thru these. head lights, turn signal, brakes. except the third brake light. it runs directly from the brake switch. go figuare

"TC off" light comes on sometimes and stays on


You may have a brake caliper sticking causing the sensor to trigger. This would also partially explain the hard shifting if the E-brake is dragging.

first loosen the road wheel nuts. then jack it up. then remove the road wheel. then turn the wheel out (brake side) get a g clamp put one end on the caliber and the other on the outside pad and wind nice and slowly then remove the two bolts holding the caliber and put aside DONOT TOUCH THE BLEEDING NIPPLE OR REMOVE ANY OF THE RUBBER HOSES ON THE BRAKE LINES open the reserveor (BRAKE FLUID CAP) the disk (rotor) look for a retaing screw on it and remove it some cars havem some dont then tap the disk off asemably is the reverse of removel

Third brake light on constantly, other brake lights seem not to work at all


It sounds like you need a brake light switch. It is mounted under the dash on the pedal assembly. It is easy to change, just twists in place. Good Luck
