This is a common problem. the abs module is losing the vehicle speed output from the transmission. i have found a company who re manufactures for rather cheap the company is out of taunton massachusettes. bba remanufacturing inc you can call them at 18665732740 you will need the module number off of the module itself.

Then you went to a repair shop & the person working on your vehicle most likely should quit & seek another type of employment

This web site alone has a 1000 or more questions a week like that, from repair shops to dealer, they can't diagnose much & don't understand the technology or what code are even for
Codes don't tell you what is wrong or if you even have a problem

The only logical idea is another shop that is up to speed &
has been there a couple decades with the same people

If you get the codes you can Google them & see the system
they point to,but don't throw parts at a codes, you have to follow
trouble charts & component test

2007 Dodge Nitro wont star

This sounds to be an electrical system problem, which is best diagnosed by a Dodge dealer. They have exact schematics of the cars wiring. It is not something I can diagnose easily, through the web, without running physical tests on the car. And I say bring it to the dealer, because in my experience, non-certified Dodge mechanics will guess at best, and replace parts until they figure it out; at your expense.

I hope this helps!

Code p1550, s80, 2000, volvo

P1550 is code ECM-510F, vehicle speed signal. It could be a signal too high, too low or lost all together. A Volvo scanner would give you best results as to what it really is

Something is wrong, but usually not six failures. Typically one failure causes other items to become out of spec, but not actually be malfunctioning....Yes, you may need another mechanic, or <<shudder>> the dealer.
One option is to have the dealer just diagnose the issue, and get your mechanic to fix the issue.

Diagnostic code for isuzu rodeo p1125,p1295, and p1550

P1125 is: Throttle Positioning Sensor intermittent.
P1295 is: Multiple faults on bank 1 (right)
P1550 is: Power steering pressure sensor out of self test range.
Well the ECM recognizes 3 codes. Were these codes stored as inactive (in the history section)? Or are these codes all active? Code P1125 and P1295 may be related but P1550 is separate. How else may I help?

What is the description of Code P1550 as defined on emissions test for 2000 Volvo S80?

P1550 "manufacturer controlled speed metering"
Basically the code means the ABS module either lost communication or there is a fault in either front WSS's.
You need to get a scantool to access the ABS to really diagnose it.

Abs require service

The code is for the Vehicle Speed Signal (VSS). The VSS is produced by the ABS electronic control unit by averaging wheel speed sensor inputs and sending a digital signal via CAN bus to other modules that use the VSS. To test the ABS, a Volvo-compatible scan tool is necessary. If one is not available, the car should be sent to a Volvo dealer for ABS diagnosis. I can tell you however that most of the cars are fixed by replacing the ABS Control Module.
