Question about 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Have you checked to see if the coil is provideing spark for 1,2,3 and 4?
With the engine off loosen the spark plug wires from the spark plugs. Just let them set easy on the plugs without snaping them on the plugs. You will need some plastic plyers or something to remove the wires without getting shocked. Start the engine and one at a time pull the wire off a spark plug then put it back on. When you pull it off it should make a difference in how the engine runs.Go to the next plug and see if it makes a difference then put it back on. If it makes no difference( no spark coming from the coil) then buy a new coil.
I hope this helps you.
