Question about 2005 Toyota Highlander
I have never had a problem with my 2005 highlander limited until today. When I went to work I locked the car as usual and the lights were on auto. when I came out the car wouldn't start. The headlights and tailights never shut off and would not shut off even after I took it off auto and manually turned the switch to the off position.. How can I fix this?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I just bnought a 2005 Highlander which did not come with the Owners Manual. Found it online at http://www.analogstereo.com/toyota_highlander_owners_manual.htm
It was free - unlike most sites - and a .pdf - which is searchable.

SOURCE: Low beam headlights don't work
I have e-mailed you 2 .pdf files, one is the complete headlamp diagram, and the other is the relay locations. Please advise if you need further assistance.

The below site can provide a 'vehicle reference manual.' not the actual original owners manual. It is free, hope it has the info you need

Turn ignition to "ACC" and press the odometer button until the display reads actual mileage (not Trip A or B).
Turn ignition off.
Hold the same button down that you used in step 1.
While holding the button, turn ignition to 'ON'.
The 'Maint Reqd' light should blink and go out.
