Usually, auto transmission filters are located in the bottom side of the transmission located in a pan that has several bolts on it. I think that that's the way yours is.

disconnect the negative battery. remove the belt by rotate the tensioner roller clockwise. from the left car side u will see three hexagon screw 13mm under the altenator. loose out the screw and remove the altenator. before that unplug the two wire behind the altenator.tq

I need to know how many foot punds the head needs

the m10's bolts are 18ft.lbs. + 60-65 degrees extra of a turn and the m12 bolts are 22ft. lbs. + 60- 65 degrees of an extra turn.

do you have the tighten sequence? if not then from the top row left to right will go 7 , 3 , 1 , 6 ,10 and the bottom row left to right 9 , 5 , 2 , 4 , 8

Have to take off alternater elantra 2000

Easy you need to loosen the bolts to the altenator then push it so that belt loosen up and then once belt is loose it's easy to diassemble it out...

How do you change the belts on elantra 2001

ensure timing marks aligned.campulley must be at zero with hole to the top.that hole must line with a slot on the head.bottom sprocket must be turned to the ten two position liningup timing beltin anti clockwise direction,starting at crankshaft sprocket.ensure belt is taut between sprockets.firmly push tensioner agains belt and tighten bolt.turn engine ones around and check marks.apply a load of 2kg to belt and travell should be engine.

Alternator removal on 2001 Hyundai Elantra

All I did was wiggle the bolt out . You have to loosen the power steering pulley and bracket and remove the fan shroud on the left side.

its real easy open trunk lid take rear sill off should just pop off then take trim panels each side then there are 4 bolts each side 10mm tkae bolts out firmly pull on tail lights they should come out and then reverse back
