I have a 2003 Spyder 4 - cyl. that has the turn signals stopped working. Is there a usual problem with these? I can here a sound from the 12.5 volt distribution box under the dash. All the fuses are good....

Sounds like the blinker switch itself. You can try asking a dealer where it is.They will most likely tell you for free.If they don't call a couple of mechanic shops.Someone will tell you for free. Many are under the hood.No hazards too probably? It's the switch that makes that click click switch when it is working and you turn on your signals.

Where is the turn signal fuse. It had a noise indicator when the turn signal was on, now it and the turn signals do not flash

i assume you are talking about a 1991 ford f350. if so i believe the blinker switch or blinker switch fuse is located on the fuse box underneath the dash board. you'll have to remove the dash board "belly pan" to gain access to the fuse box. the blinker fuse is a shiny square "odd" looking push in fuse. i believe it has a small aluminum casing on the fuse itself.

but....
it could also be a fuse relay witch is located under the hood on the driver's side fender well, but i'd check the blinker fuse first...

Blinkers wont turn on its not the bulbs or fuses 01 tahoe

Did you replace the hazard/flasher/blinker relays?- they are in the fuse block usually.

This is weird, but try this: Turn on your hazard lamps and turn your steering wheel all the way left and all the way right.
Then turn on your left blinker and hold the blinker on while you turn all the way left, then right. It will click and try to turn it off but keep it held down and turned on. Then do the right blinker the same way.
I have had this problem with every GM I've ever had, something about the detent-return and the blinker relays getting reset. I'm not sure why it works, but if your flasher relays are good and your fuses, bulbs and wires are good then this is probably what will fix ya. I've had this happen often enough that I always do this first. My GM vehicles were/are all 60s to 90s models- old school, but try this before you do anything else with it it's free and only takes about 15 seconds to do. Sometimes I have to do it more than once, but eventually the detents reset and they work. Viola!
Good luck and please rate this solution if it fixes ya!

Turn signals and flashers stopped working at the same time checked all fuses and they are all good

Try rpelacing the blinker/flasher relay, it's under the driverside dash. behide the main fuse box.

If you put you head all the way under the drivers side part of the dash, then look just behind the main fuse box. you'll see five or so relays. looking at them you'll see 2 gray then a black, then a green, then to the side of that one another gray. The flasher/blinker is the green one. To get it out, Don't rip it, just work it, it should just pull right out. The part number is 96312545.

Hazards and blinkers not working

There are separate fuses for the turn signals and blinkers, but you should check both of them just to see if they're good.

You may have a burnt out turn signal bulb as well. I know that this sounds like an obvious answer, but a single bulb can sometimes disable the entire system because of the way that some flashers operate.

You could also have a defective turn signal/hazard light flasher. This is located under the dash board on the driver's side between the steering column and the door. You have to remove the sound insulation/kick panel (the cover on the bottom of the dash board) to reach the flasher (it is easy to remove - I don't think you even need tools).

My 2000 dodge durango turn signal lights stop working just recently. sometimes they would work and other times not, but now it just stoped.

A Mechanic told me my switch was broken, but the switch was working fine, the lights just stopped flashing. After some research and consulting with a male friend who knows more about this than I, we discovered it was only the turn signal flasher -- a $16.00 part. On the 2000 model, it's located under the dash, on a separate fuse panel I didn't even know was there. It's to the left of the steering column and right behind the main fuse box, but you can only get to it by going up under the dash. The green one is a little hard to get to, but that's the one for the hazard lights. Its easy to see with a good shop light. It's 1" by 1" ish. The turn signal flasher is below the green one. It's black and a little smaller, and much easier to get to. You simply unplug it and plug the new one in. Voila! There are other fuses on this panel -- I'm not sure what they go to, but I intend to find out so I don't waste money replacing parts I don't need to.

Turn signals fuse and emergency lt fuses blowing

Are You Talking About The Blinker Relay? If So It Should Be Located Under The Drivers Side Dash.

ok, the dash does not show the blinker is on, did you check the front and back to see if any of the turn signals were on, but not blinking? Also the side marker lights should light up if the turn signals aren't working, do they? Let me know. Next check the fuse box, it's on the driver side, under the dashboard. The fuses will be labeled, check the fuse for the turn signals.
Check to see if it"s blown. If it is, or you aren't sure, replace it with one of the same amperage (the # of amps is on the fuse). The fuses can just be pulled out to check them. If you still don't have working blinkers, go back to the fuse block under the dash. There are 2 round canister shaped units plugged into the fuse block. One of them is the turn signal flasher. They are about the diameter of a quarter, and a bit over an inch thick. If your emergency flashers are working, unplug one of the flashers. If they don't work after unplugging one, then you just unplugged the emergency flasher, so the other one is the turn signal flasher. Replace with a new one, identical to the old one. Let me know when you have followed all these instructions and what happens. countrycurt0
