That code means that the coolant is cooler than it is supposed to be and it cannot be regulated...which means the thermostat is stuck open or broken,so replace the thermostat and that should solve your problem, hope this sheds a little light on it!

Where does the crankshaft position sensoe go on an 05 Isuzu Ascender???

What engine? V6 or V8?
The Ascender is the same as a Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, and Saab 9-7X. Look on the Chevy forums for where/how to change this. It should like like this - maybe:

I loss power while driving then check engine light turned on. what will i do?

You need to go to an Auto Zone or other parts store and have them hook up a code reader to see what codes are stored. That most likely will give you a good idea why you lose power and for sure why the Check Engine light is on.

Then if you still need assistance, get back here with the codes and I can try to help you further. Just cannot do anything without the codes since your Check Engine light is on.

I had a P0410 code. I repladed the air pump on my 05 Isuzu Ascender and the check engine light came back on the next day after replacement.

this is an obd2 trouble code table, it canhelp you understand the meaning of code.
for this code youc can try:

Replace the AIR pump AND one-way check valve

Test and clean the AIR pump AND test and replace the one-way air check valve

Replace the AIR pump inlet hose

Replace the AIR pump fuse (found under the hood)

O6 ascender po128 code changed thermostat and coolant sensor. ligt comes back on with the same code after three months. any suggestions

Code P0128 simply means that the computer has not seen a large enough rise in engine temperature within a prescribed amount of time. This can be caused by several things. It could be a bad (stuck open) thermostat, the wrong thermostat (not the correct heat range for the vehicle), a bad coolant temp sensor, bad wiring between the coolant temp sensor and the engine computer, low coolant level or airpockets in the cooling system, or a failed PCM, or a PCM that needs to be reprogrammed. It could even be caused by a cooling fan relay sticking on. You could throw a lot of parts at this code and not fix the problem if it is not properly diagnosed. You have to access the computer data to find out what temperature your computer "thinks" your engine is at. You must then compare this with a direct reading from an infrared thermometer or a pyrometer to validate this data. If the data is not valid, then you must find out why. (bad sensor/sensor circuits, etc.) If the data is valid, then you have to find out why your engine is running cold.
