When you say hot, do you mean that the pads are not releasing from the rotor when you let off the pedal?

Raise vehicle , see if tire spins freely if not, loosen brakes slightly, access it from small opening in inside of brake plate, remove rubber grommet , and turn star nut with screw driver until free, have breaks serviced if not, might also try bleeding brakes

Driver's side heat doesn't work

There is a problem with the drivers side air mix valve. I have seen several problems with these. Sometimes the air mix valve (door) gets stuck and when you try to change it the air mix valve link can pop loose, or sometimes it breaks. Sometimes it also breaks the bellcrank on the door itself. The programmer unit can also be defective. Please refer to the picture below. The thing to do is to remove the lower hush panel and possibly the glove box assembly so you can get a good look at what is going on. Then switch the driver's temperature control from hot to cold and back again to observe the movement of the programmer actuator, the mix valve link, etc. to determine where the malfunction is.

I was checking back brakes, emergency brakes. The axel on the passenger rear is welded to drum. Why wouldyou do that. Cannnot put check back brakes or install new emergency brakes on back passenger side....

They wouldn't and couldn't, or the rear drum would not turn and the car would not move. You need a special fork tool to go behind the drum and adjust the star fitting in order to release the drum and then you will be able to check the linings and cable.

I have a 98 dodge durango 4wheel drive 5.2 v8.. breaks are getting hot and wearing out the rear pads. rear have drum front have disk. all 4wheels are getting hot. new everything all the way around.pads,...

check the abs fuse to see if it as blown they system may just be putting more pressure on different parts at differnt times because it is not getting proper control, also if the breaks are new you might consider using a dab of break cement on the back side of the pads and shoes to allow for proper release from the drums/rotors.

Hot on driver side and cold on passenger side

If this vehicle has the dual climate controls then the passenger side temperature blend door actuator motor may be bad. The plastic drive gears are prone to breaking and can't move the temp blend door when commanded to do so. I've also seen some controllers go bad but see many more bad actuators.

Changed the rear Brakes in my 1992 Ford F-150 2 wheel drive Pickup. On the passenger side rear with the adjuster all the way in, the drum was still difficult to put back on. Put it on anyway and went for a...

Pull both drums and VERY CAREFULLY compare the left and right side, check all the hardware and return springs, position of the shoes, etc. (You know that the left and right are mirror images of each other, as you look at each assembly, think "front vs. rear" not "right vs. left"
Are the shoes pulled tight against the adjuster and the top post? Check to see that the shoes are resting on the backing plates at the correct points, especially near the bottom.
Make sure the shoes are the correct size and have the same mounting points as the old shoes.

Something is wrong. While you may not feel it sticking or grabbing, the excessive heat will cause trouble, including possibly causing the outer wheel bearing to fail.

You must get this fixed, if you cannot resolve the problem, take it to someone who can. Do not ignore this and hope it will correct itself. It won't.

Where is the brake relay on a peugeot 307 hdi?

follow the rod of break padal. It goes to passenger side and if you look underneath the dashboard on passenger side you can find it attached to this rod (the main master cylinder is on passenger side and the rod joins on this side with the drum).
