Question about 1986 Volkswagen Wagon Camper
Pull out the driver's seat to get to the extra battery compartment you will find on the paint code sticker on wall in there.
If it is the two tone brown Wolfburg, the tan code is: DB1444 if using PPG DBC25319 - Sand Beige. The dark brown is: LA8A PPG code DBC3202.
I did a base coat clear coat, after sand blasting the van and prep with an epoxy enamel primer. No rust after 4 years.

Usually on a plate next to drivers seat, either behind the seat on bulkhead or on part of "floor" that seat mounts to.
