Try stop light or also known as brake light switch located on or near the brake pedal assymbly

My brake & hazard lights don't work, although, the center high mounted brake light does work, & my turn signals work. I have always had a btrry pwr drain when car off.
I suspect my Turn Signal/Mutifunction Lever (Combination Switch) needs replacing, and a
door jamb switch (driver's door) may solve the power drain. (Dome light doesn't work, bulb good). I checked all my fuses, and the fuse box slots show V.

Sounds like a short in the socket or a bad ground.
The parking light is one circuit and the brake turn signal is another.

97 jetta plate lights

The plate lights are connected with the park lamp circuit and it is Possible that the GROUND connection to the ligh assembly has failed or it can be the lamp holder that has failed.

97 Olds Bravada My brake & hazard lights don't

There are TSB's for this issue. I chased this issue for months on mine. Go find the TSB's, there's troubleshooting pointing out the faulty part. It could be, the brake light switch, the hazzard light switch itself, the multi-function switch. I had replaced all of these and still had the problem. Wiring that goes from the brake switch to up near the fender was shorting against the fender. I replaced the pigtail, problem fixed. Best bet to help you, is find the TSB's for this problem.

As for the brake lights push brake pedal down while pushing on and wiggling the hazard switch. If the brake lights come on then replace the multi-function switch.

Main brake lights not working, third light works, turn signals work, all fuses are good, what could be the problem? 02 Olds Bravada.

Most likley the brake light switch. It has 2 different sides. One for the third brake light and one for the lower brake lights. It is inexpensive and can be changed easily. Good Luck

Geo tracker lights and radio not working

power loss.
any good car elect. tech find this pronto.
just takes a volt meter to find the voltage drop point.

top fails:
1: corroded fuse box on right front finder (under fuse box)
2: did you say it kills motor too. cant figure above.

what about heater fan, it uses tons of current.
as does HL followed by tails.

20amps, 15amps and 5amps respectively

you have resistance some where.
and load , kills the voltage .

for me.
i'd:
check battery voltage , when it dims out.
then of ok 12.5v is ok key on,not started.
then check voltages at a right fender , fuse panel
all points there, 12.5vdc , same as battery v.
if OK
then
check voltage at the fuse above right knee
with load full, hl, fan, brakes, just key on.

now you know what circuit is fail ing by now.

report back with this facts.
