evacuate the a/c system,separate the high side line where the orfice tube is located,pull the old tube out of line. lubricate the new orfice o-ring with a/c oil,push into the line,reconnect the line be sure to replace the o-rings at the connection.pull a vacuum on the a/c system for at least 30 minutes,then recharge the system.
Hello chericegodea: My name is Rpger and I will help you. The orfice tube is located in the liquid len at the evaporater coce. This will be the small diametor linn at the firewall. Seperate the fittings at the firewall and look inside the tube that comes through the firewall. The object you see will be the orfice tube. Make sure the A/C has been recoverd or that the system has no pressure as there could be a dangerousexscape og freon and gas. Should you need further help please just ask. Please rate the answer. This is called an orfice tube, this is located on the highside line,(small line) its located at the connection going to evaporater core, remove the line and look inside the line, note make sure system is drained of freon before removing lines, also take note of the way the tube or filter goes into the line its important that you slide new filter in the same way.
