Question about 1987 Chevrolet S-10 Pickup
Two mounting bolts. Two wire terminals. Disconnect battery first for safety. You may need to remove exhaust manifold or something to get at it. The starter is mounted with flat metal shims that adjust how it meshes with the flywheel. Save those and try various positions with your new starter till it doesn't make too much noise when you start.
