Where is the battery located at on my 2000 volkswagon beetle 2.0 hatch back. Just need to find it. I would like to know where it is??

Should be in the engine compartment on the driver's side front. It probably has a cover over it, so it doesn't jump right out if your not familiar with this model. Let me know if I can help furthur!

Where is the oil cap on a 1973 Volkswagon Beetle?

The oil cap is just in front of the generator, slightly to the left and angled to the left(towards the passenger side)(right as you are looking at it). If this is your first VW Beetle(type 1), it would be beneficial to pick up the book "How to keep your VW alive and running. A guide for the complete idiot". It is a must have book for anyone who has a veedub and wants to do any work on it themselves. Almost anyone who has bought one has had this book since the late 70's. It explains everything in an understandalbe format and is kind of funny too! Let me know if you need anything else.

2000 volkswagon beetle mis firing

Very common for the coil pack to fail on this model, also the plugs are a pain to change and are often left, try these first.

Could be brake fluid, so look at the brake fluid resevoir.
Could also be water from the evaporator, from the air conditioner.

Fuses are generally located under the dash on drivers left and under the hood beside the battery. The covers should hold the fuse info.
