Cant repair it unless you pull the steering wheel and give it to an upholsterer. Other than that, replace it. It will be cheaper to have reupholstered though.

I have a right hand drive 95 Cherokee, where is the horn relay located?

The horn relay is located under the hood within the power control box. However, I should make clear that Jeep has a characteristic problem in that the small pigtail wire under the steering wheel comes loose and pops out. To repair this remove the steering wheel with a puller kit. Then remove the locking plate with a special puller for this also. Now you can see the pigtail wire, it was connected to the horn button when you started. Look at the base and you'll see a spring and clip assembly. If you can manuver the clip into place it will be fine. If the little tab that holds the clip in place is broken, than you'll have to superglue it back into place. Use a lond pair of needlenose pliers to do this. Replace the lockplate and steering wheel(making sure that the index mark is lined up perfectly. That's it. Thank you ,Dana

Headlights not working even after bulbs and fuses replaced

Replace your headlight switch. You need torx bits, a steering wheel puller, and bolts to perform the repair.

Disconnect your negative battery cable and wait at least 1 minute before going any further (this insures your airbags are disabled if your vehicle has them).

Remove the plastic covers that cover the steering colum. If applicable, remove the airbag from the steering wheel; if you don't have a airbag pull the horn switch from the center of the steering wheel. Remove the retaining clip from the center shaft in the steering colum. Remove the bolt that holds the steering wheel, then use a steering wheel puller to remove the steering wheel. Remove the torx screws from the headlight switch, and remove the electrical connectors. Install in reverse.

I hope this information helps you, and I wish you luck on your repair.

Need to replace ignition switch

well, after the wheel there is a disk with notches in it that comes off and has a c clip holding it there, there is a spring behind it then take off the turn signal switch, then there is a small bolt or screw to take off where the switch is(still behind the steering wheel)put your key to accessories then pull the switch out,if you have no key, then you have to either break the switch or get a locksmith to do it,ive done it in my chevys and its not really fun without a key

Remove steering wheel

First there are 2 screws behind the steering wheel they are hex or phillips
take them out and it come s out then you need a socket to remove the nut and a puller to take the wheel off. Once you are to that point it is very complicated.
from hear on out. it took over 4hrs to remove mine down to the titlwheel section.
there is a spring behind the metal plate that you see and you have to press down
on that metal plate to get the c clip off with a special tool that you have to get
it presses down on that plate to release the spring , which take pressure of to get
at the c clip there are lots of srews and small parts inside be careful not to lose them!!!!

2000 jetta need to remove steering wheel

This is not an easy procedure, especially since you've never done it before. With the wheels in the straight ahead position, look at the back of the steering wheel, you'll see two holes. One at 9 o'clock and one at 3 o'clock. You stick a small flat blade screwdriver in the first hole and you pry on the retaining spring while gently pulling on the airbag until it releases. Repeat on the other side. I'm a professional mechanic and the first time I did it, it took me over a half hour to figure it out. Now I can do it in less than a minute. Might want to take it to the dealer.
