Try pushing the emergency flasher button in and out a few times.Dirt and liquid can get inside the turn signal switch, causing the contact problems. This is a common problem, and replacement of the switch might be nessesary

Check the fuse first, after that would be the turn signal switch. Sorry, I don't have the diagram for the fuse panel. But that fuse is under the dash.

Wiper/turn signal relay locations on a 1999 ford taurus

Denise, the relays are under the hood. They're in an electrical box of their own. The car owner's manual will tell you which one it is.However,I've found the problem is usually a fuse that's under the dash.

96 Ford Taurus no turn signals or hazards

Take the turn signal lever and jiggle it, a lot. If they start working, the switch is bad. You can also turn on the hazards and take hold of the button and push it left , right , forward and back and see if they start working. If so, replace the turn signal/ hazard switch.

The blinkers on are ford don't work we tried to but in fuses but all the fuses work

If the lights come on but just do not flash, replace the flasher relay. Your Thunderbird has 2 flasher relays. One for the Turn signals and one for the Hazard lights. The turn signal relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in lower corner of fuse block . The hazard relay is located Front seating area, driver side, under dash, driver side of steering column, mounted in rear of fuse block. Replace the one for the Turn Signals. Turn signals not working.

Look under the Hood in the Fuse Relay Box and see if there is not a Relay for the Flashers. If it is here, Replace it and the Common Fuse for the Flashers that is Supposed to be in the Fuse Panel under the Dash on the Inside. Let me know. Please Rate my Response, I need all the Help That I can Get! Thanks!
