Question about 1994 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
94 Chevy 1500, 5.7 engine. Somestimes when the wheels are turned sharp and the A/C is on the serpentine belt jumps-off.
I have also seen this caused by a bad bypass valve in the power steering pump. reaching the end of the steering travel and the pump continues to build pressure with nowhere to go. It causes the pump to bind and slow so the engine turns the belt too fast and slings it off.
