Take off the inner door panel and look inside the door and you will see the motor and where it attaches. Just be careful it very tight where you will be working and very easy to get cut badly. Good luck. This job also takes time and patience. It is easy to get mad and frustrated. Pay attention to how you wiggle the motor out so you can get it back in.

I have a hyundai coupe se (2004) and the drivers side window stopped moving. The motor still turns but when the panel was removed there is a wire that just hangs don. It is the wire that pulls he window up...

It is broken my friend. You need to replace the whole thing. It is called the power window regulator. They are about 80 bucks at the dealership. and I would recomend a factory part for this. There is a plastic runner at the end of the track and one of the alignment tabs break off on them.

You can try re routing that cable, but in a day or two you will just be tearing it apart again.
I have had to replace both sides on my hyundai so far. It is one of the few things on hyundais that isnt well made. there are a couple nuts at the top and a couple at the bottom, and the nuts or bolts that hold the window to it, you will have to unbolt the electric motor from it once removed from the car. assembly is the reverse of removal as usual. You can find some helpful diagrams at register for free, and have access to tech info for every hyundai ever made.

2005 Infiniti Coupe, driver window inoperative

is the motor turning when you press the switch if so when installed can you hear the motor running if so does your car have a cable style window regualtor if so your regualtor may be bad. but if that is not the case first try running the motor straight off of the battery one wire to ground the other to postive if the motor turns your good but if you hook it up to the oem wiring and it does not com on replace the switch. just because the drivers side switch for the passenger window works doesn't mean that you can't still have a bad switch.

Electric window

most likely the electric motor that raises and lowers the window is defective, u will need to remove the door panel and replace the window motor, about a 2 hour job and $100 in parts.
