All the gauges in my car stopped working all at once and my check engine light and the door is ajar light all popped on as well?

The power to the dashboard obviously is not working , Try to get a hold of the schematic and see how the dash board is powered. Could be a fuse or something that is not working. Or it could be a loose connection.

Which fuse is for gauges on dashboard on a 2003 gmc Sierra 1500

Probably the temperature sending unit on the engine, not the dashboard.

Which fuse is for temperature gauge on dashboard

  • The temperature gauge is not on a fuse of its own, it would work with all the instruments, ie fuel gauge, warning lights etc. If the temp gauge does not work and the fuel gauge does,, look for the problem elsewhere such as the sender unit on the engine. A quick check is to remove the wire from the sensor unit on the engine and short it out to ground. If the gauge picks up, replace the sensor unit.
  • Otherwise, check the wire itself for breaks, or bad connections.

MY DASHBOARD LIGHTS AND GAUGES WONT COME ON

It sounds like either a blown fuse, or a relay. If replacing the fuse, be sure to check all surrounding wiring and look for burned wire, loose connections, dangling wires, you should repair this problem before popping in another fuse. Good Luck

My 2004 suburban gauges are not working on the dashboard

Check the fuses first for a blown fuse. May have a bad headlight switch or shorted ignition switch.

The gauges on dashboard are not working

Sound like a fuse blow problem; I suggest check and test each fuse acco4rding with the fuse description in the Owners Manual.

Other choice could be some loss harnesses connections, will need take off the dashboard to check it.

Hope this helps.
