The rear-left light does not work. Bold =OK

The rear-left light does not work. Altough the integrated break light does work. The rear-right light works correct. If I switched the two light-bolds, it became clear that they are both ok. What can be the cause?

2005 Dodge Magnum RT. Left turn signal in rear, flashes fast rear bulb replaced but blinker still blinks fast occassionally and rear turn signal light socket has no voltage when this happens. Where is the...

When its blinking fast look at both front and rear to verify which bulb isnt flashing. If the right works OK, then the flasher is OK. The flasher is INSIDE the front control module/integrated power module. If you cant find the problem, you may need a dealer to check it.

Left rear tail light and left rear break light not working which fuse is it

Not a lot of detail to work with here... (model, style, etc) Is it all the same bulb? If so, try a new bulb, if they doesn't work, check for contacts erosion
Check for corrosion or disconnect in the harness connector(s) to the main wiring.
Do you have an integrity issue(water invasion, etc)?

Jaguar xj6 break light cancels signal

Replace the turn signal switch. Bad contact inside causing a crossing of the circuits. When the turn signal is applied it should open the brake light circuit allowing for just the signal to work. Doesn't sound like the switch is doing it's job.

Left rear brake light will not work. Bulb is O.K. Flashers work but steeping on the brake pedal doesn't make left rear light work.

Hi,

A couple of possibilities:
  • corroded bulb socket - most brake lights are integrated with the rear park lights. The bulb socket would have 2 contacts, try checking if they are clean and reaches the mate in the end of the bulb;
  • wrong installation - the bayonet socket of most park/brake lights combo are offset, there is a right and wrong way if installing it into the bulb socket;
  • loose wire - it would be required to trace the left brake wire to where it joins with that of the right;
  • loose ground - same as above or a workaround is to wire an additional ground wire from the housing of the bulb socket to any screw that is connected to the body ground.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
