Question about 1996 Pontiac Trans Sport
I have a 4cyl Pontiac trans sport -96 whit manual transmision. My oilpressur goes low somtimes when i drive. Is it normal that the pressur goes up and down under driving? The pressur don´t go down on red but it´s close, it happens when i drive in high speed and press the clutch down and roll (for leaving the highway for example) But when i pressur the gas it goes right up again, is this normal or do i have to shange the filter and oil? Do i have to worry about the oilpump. Would be happy if someone could answer this Tony
I have just cured my low oil pressure (and leaks) by using a stop a leek additive from e-bay. LUCAS engine oil stop a leak. £14.99($22 approx)
It takes a while too get it in the engine as it is extremely thick, but works very well. It evens stopped the slight noise from the oil pump.
