A/C blows hot air on front passenger side, front driver side and rear seat all blow cold

Try just adding a little freon ,and if that does not do the trick, there is a directional door actuator motor that is not working, and the dash would have to be removed to access the actuator motor.

I have a simular problem in a 2002 Tahoe. It turned out being and actuator that controls a flap door that separates the air flow from the heat box. When this part goes bad the control knobs are useless is what they control don't work. According to my Chevy Dealer this is a common part to go bad. This part is located in the rear or the truck behind the passenger side wheel well on the inside of the truck. In this area is a system simular to the system that is in the dash. There is a heater core back there and this is where your rear heat comes from. The same as the front system in your dash. When this actuator fails it will be in the open position on the flap door that goes to the heater box. This more than likely is your problem. I currently have a 2004 Sierra. I have a simular problem again. There is 4 actuator door in my separated climate control system. I can't tell you which one is bad but I can tell you that more than likely this is your problem. You will have to get under the dash and notice which actuators move with your switches and which one does not. It will be a little black box. Maybe 1/2 thick and 3 inch by 2 inch estimated with a little round white piece of plastic that fits the arm that goes to these flap doors that direct the air to wherever your switches are telling it to. Price range from 50 to 150 bucks at your local parts store. Good Luck.

I have a 2002 ford explore that will not switch from cold to hot

The issue is with the blend motor under the dash that controls the door too switch from hot to cold, if you look under the dash on the passenger side on the heater box you will see a little black box bolted on it with wires coming out of it, there is probably more than one. One controls where the air goes and one controls from hot to cold.

Front Blower

ok, missed the part about the rear ac working, the part that causes this is called the air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is an electric motor driven gear drive that moves the plastic door inside the air ducking to mix or shut off the hot or cold air from the ac evaporator core or the heater core, you will need to replace it.
