Could be an idle speed sensor to an fuel filter or plugs..

if the carb was put on the car with that gasket sealer stuff you buy in a tube it will get hot and drip down into the carb. I had a car acted the same way and that was the problem.

check your tps sensor, or idle stop soleniod. they both control idle. Its not a major problem it wont effect your driving but may cause vehicle to die at a light.

Your speed sensor may cause other problems like not shiftig all gears, if the car acts like it is cutting of, check for proper fuel pressure, air intake firlter, spark plugs, throthle positioner sensor, idle motor.

could be the idle air control valve acting up it is located near the throttle body and is a silver round body with two big vacuum hoses going into it ,at idle unplug this and be sure the car will stay running if it will take it for a ride and see if it continues to stall out this may very well be the problem looks like this:b408e72.jpegyou can also try cleaning it with carb cleaner and compressed air also be sure you dont have and broken vacuum lines or leaks please rate -jeff
