Your best solution would be to consult the Owners Manual that came with your truck and if you don't have that, to consult with the GM Dealership who can advise you fully about all the capacities of your vehicle, I.E. Hitch weights, towing capacity, availability of electric brake hook-up, and the "Tow-Haul" mode of your transmission. This tow-haul, when ON, does not let the transmission shift into overdrive gear as easily, in order to protect the transmission components when under a heavier than normal load. With it off, the transmission shifts into the Overdrive ranges much quicker, allowing better fuel mileage and less stress on the components. I would check with the local Chevrolet Dealer, Parts and Service Department, in the absence of the original owners manual for that vehicle. And you can get that from Chevrolet, or maybe even download and print using Adobe from the net.

What is the towing performance of a kia sportage 2ltr 4wd

Towing

Kia lists a maximum trailer towing mass (trailer plus load) of 1800 kg for the Sportage but that figure would be illegal in NSW. For light commercials (such as the Sportage) in NSW, the regulations state that the loaded trailer must not exceed 2/3s of the gross vehicle mass (GYM) of the towing vehicle. The Sportage's GVM is 1928 kg, resulting in an allowable maximum towing mass of 1292 kg. Even this figure could be beyond the Sportage's reasonable capabilities, given its sub standard handling and its overall levels of performance.

What is the maximum towing capacity for a Ford F1-50 V-8 engine

The sticker on the door frame will give you the rating for your specific truck. This differs on engine size and transmission packages. Also Tow packages effect the amount that you can tow.

Will my 2004 heavy duty 3/4 ton with a cummins diesel engine, 6 speed standard transmission tow a travel trailer that weighs 14,000 lbs???

The maximum towing capacity of 13,750 and you should not exceed what the manufacturer recommends as you can cause serious harm to your vehicle, yourself, and / or others.

When considering the maximum towing capacity, you also have to consider passenger weight, luggage, etc as all this will reduce the overall capacity... I.e. if you've got 1000lbs in the trunk and 3 passengers plus the driver, your capacity has already dropped to around 12,000

Traveling across country in 1995 ford windstar. Need to know maximum weight the vehicle can tow without stressing the engine.

The maximum towing capacity for the 3.8l motor you have is 2000lbs. There have been complaints by Winsstar owners that have tried to go over the recommended towing capacity. Hope this answers your question and Best of luck on your trip!
