SOURCE: check engine light on and
Take your TB to Autozone or a parts store that offers a free check engine light check. All they do is tell you what code your check engine light is throwing. Get this code, and we can help from there.

SOURCE: what could cause reduced motor
A few things could. I'd take it to Autozone or some place that will scan your car with an OBDII scanner for free. Would like to know what codes are popping up to give us a clue. 1 thing I've seen is chaffed wires in the main wiring harness causing problems. Another popular one is a bad gas pedal positioning sensor or pedal assembly. Also a transmission controle module. See what codes pop up and we can go from there.
