If you take a wire and connect the battery positive to the "S" terminal the engine should spin over. if it does, you need to find out why it doesnt when you turn the key.

I have a 92 Lincoln towncar I put new motor and nothing. The switch turns I hear the electrical click of power but only when on and off. The fuses are good. Please help im at a lose on what to do.

I am assuming you have an automatic transmission - maybe your "Neutral Safety Switch" is unplugged or defective.
Also make sure your "Fusible Links" are intact.
There is also a possibility of the "Starter Motor or Solenoid" having issues.
Let me know how that works for you

94 honda accord starter does not click there is no turning over cranking.. Nothing. The battery is brand new and all lights and everything else work. Is this a bad starter or bad starter solenoid ???

It could be the solenoid or the start circuit. To check, pull off the wire at the starter solenoid and use a test light or voltmeter to check for power on that wire when the key is held in crank position. It should have power- if it does, likely the solenoid is bad. If no power on the solenoid start wire, then problem is in the start circuit between the ignition switch and the solenoid-check the neutral safety switch, check for power out of ignition switch on the start wire, with key held in crank position, check starter relay for proper operation. All these items are in the starting circuit.

My 92 lincoln town car will not start i have replaced the starter, the neutral safety switch and the battery but when i turn key nothing happens but can jump starter and will crank

Yes there is a starter relay in the wiring diagram.
The yellow and lite blue wire goes from the starter solenoid to the relay. There is a yellow wire from the relay to a 30amp fuse. The key switch powers thru the neutral safety switch and then powers the relay on.

1994 pontiac sunbird;i turn key on everything inside works.turn key over i get nothing

could have faulty starter or starter solenoid.hook test light make you a test light with longer wires and 12 volt bulb with socket go junk yard find good bulb with socket.hook test light to starter and see if test light lights up if so your starter or starter solenoid has a open winding. if test light dont light up could have blowed fuse to transmission neutral switch or neutral switch could be bad.try to start vechicle in neutral if vechicle starts your transmission neutral switch out of adjustment or neutral switch faulty check make sure wires going to neutral switch is damaged.

Nothing turns over at all when i turn the key but the lights come on

lights draw about 5 amps each.
a starter pulls 200 plus amps so sometimes low current things work. hook up a good battery and try it.
is it auto?look for a problem with the neutral safety switch, put in neutral and see if it turns over.if it is a standard, there is a switch on the clutch that is connected to the starter circuit, make sure it is ok.these things are all possible...battery,cables,,starter and solenoid, ignition switch, safety neutral switch.
