Question about 1992 Saab 9000
Had the engine replaced . but now the car would not start. we spray engine starter into the trottle and it ran for a few seconds, but will never continue to run. can it be a fuel relay?

First make sure you do have gas in the tank don't just go by the reading of the fuel gauge.I had a similar problem and here's what i did...I removed the rear deck cover to expose the fuel pump so i could hear if it was running.Then i jumped fuse #14 with fuse #20 (1996 saab 9000) i heard the fuel pump running but it sounded funny like it was not picking up any gas.Yes my fuel gauge was reading incorrectly and i was out of gas.Put some gas in the tank and car started instantly and kept running.
