My suzuki grand escudo sometimes cuts out especially when driving in sand road. what could be the problem?

so what cuts, name it>
engine or trans, is trans automatic or stick
cuts have vast implicaitons.
  1. bogs? full time.
  2. just misfires?
  3. hesitates a bit and recovers?
  4. engine stalls. but restarts or not?
  5. or the transmission slips,
  6. lost 12vdc power to the EFI fuel and spark system , see lamps go dead, just before CUT?

What is wrong

lost power.
do a tuneup, ever read the op guide and do the 60k mile tuneup?
the 60,000 mile service schedule as it is called.?
can be cause by bad spark
or lost fueling.
only completing the tune up , can you blame fueling.
if it is fueling, then start with pump pressure. (gages)
no tools , no joy.! no tools, big wasted money guessing.

No power when accelerating

Once you rule out some kind of ignition problems,; spark plugs and wires, ignition timing, distrib. cap & rotor, the cause may be low fuel pressure from a failing pump or clogged filter. Listen to the pump in the gas tank. If its been getting louder lately, have the pressure tested.
