Question about 2004 Dodge Neon

1 Answer

I have a strange clicking sound coming from my fuse box in my 97 neon and my car won't start, any thoughts I have a batter guard hooked up due to an unknown electrical problem but it has not been an issue for the last 9 months since I have had it. The clicking sound seems to be coming from one of the big block fuses i.e the one labled A I hope you understand what I am talking about>

Your computer may be back there or you have a relay that is clicking and needs to be replaced.

that clink noise you get is from a relay which has something going wrong. try to find which one is,to replace it and see the difference.

My boyfriend hooked a toggle switch up to my fan in my 97 dodge neon, he got the fan to work, but now my car won't start! We thought it just drained the battery, so we tried to jump it, but that

Where did he get the power from to run the fan,if he just used a hot wire from inside the car it most likely blew the fuse for ignition as the engine fan gets its power from a relay in the power distribution box under the hood as far as the fan goes if it ran with the wire then the engine coolant temp sensor is probably bad

I have a 97' plymouth neon and it wont start, it turns over but wont start.

Sounds like a timing belt has broken. If you are lucky it has not done more damage. Best to hook up a code reader and see if it is reporting missing cam sensor. If it is, the timing belt is broken.

97 Jetta strange intermittant electrical problems..crossed wires.?

I previously had a similar problem on a Toyota. Beleive it or not, the corrosion that started on the battery terminal worked its way into the wiring of the vehicle and eventually corroded all the wiring -- even fuse box. The car started doing strange things.
Maybe something to check on your car.
