Serentine belt broke the truck lost power the belt was replaced but it wont start back up

What engine? Why did the belt break? Is there a Crank Sensor or wiring that got caught up with the belt as it let go. Has it ever started with the new belt or are we on to a new unrelated problem after the belt issue ?

Possibly your car jumped timing when the belt broke or bent some valves. Check that first

Your vehicle ran hot and probably did damage to the engine. Probably blown headgasket and/or cracked head. A compression test will confirm this.

Why does the serentine belt keep breaking


Here's a link on how to replace,make sure the belt is lined up on all pulleys correct and the tensioner is tight and good,It's possible your tensioner is bad or loose.Check\ your a.c.compressor,could be locked up.

2001 audi tt just stopped running while driving 55mph. wont turn back on now. power works. just wont turn over.


Timing belt might have broke. Same thing happened to mine. Going to cost ALOT of money to fix.
