Is your car a manual or automatic? If it is a manual, did you just change your clutch? I have a 2003 Dodge Neon and when I replaced the clutch the entire car shook; come to find out the clutch was not assembled right and wasn't balanced. I installed another clutch and it is fine now.

Changed belt and pulley tensioner and I still have squealing sound when I step on the gas. nissan pathfinder 2005

There is quite an extensive service bulletin from Nissan regarding belt noise on this truck. It involves checking several things, two of which you have already replaced. The only remaining thing that appears to cause the problem is the one-way clutch that is mounted on the front of the alternator. Apparently they slip and cause this noise, and it sounds like this is your problem. They are a bit of a pain to change and probably expensive. Why they needed a one way clutch on the alternator, I'll never know, but that's the way it is.

I have a 1994 Saturn SL2. There is a knocking noise coming from the front passenger side of the car possibly near the the tire. It's not the motor because you hear it more on a bumpy road. After about 2...

If it is a constant knock, I would check the cv shaft,(drive shaft ) on that side. you can grab it and there should be no movement up or down or side to side. If it is the shaft and that much noise it will move quite a bit. Get this replaced as soon as possible. this is not safe to drive and could cost you a transmission if it breaks completely. If you need to drive it to a garage take back roads and drive slowly. best is to get it towed. If you 've got the tools and want to do it yourself let me know and I can guide you thru it. Struts will make noises but only on bumps, the same with ball joints.

Most likely you have a seized release bearing. Gearbox has to be removed to get at it. It is usually accompanied by quite a bit of noise
It could also be a short circuit. Have someone operate the clutch while you inspect all the moving parts for rubbing against any kind of electrical wire.

Adust clutch cable.Test...start the car in first gear with clutch fully depressed, parking break off. Slowly release the clutch. determine when the vehicle starts to move. If clutch is fully depressed call that 100%, fully released is 0%. The vehicle should be moving at around the 55-45% range.

It must be the first motion shaft bearing, the clutch thrust would be noisy and slow the tick over when you depress the clutch if it was faulty. If the car has ever been left standing the first motion shaft bearing can dry out and rust a bit then go noisy with use, does it growl in use?

Bad vibration engine trans under load

seems your problem is within your clutch, defective part, usually a defective release bearing will cause gear shifter and pedal vibration but not as bad as yours, but by pressing on clutch pedal vibration stops, point to clutch!

Clutch Whine on Toyota 4WD Pickup

Bad bearings. Perhaps a throw out bearing. The pressure on it varies depending on whether your pushing on the pedal or not, and how much. If the noise occured only when the truck is moving, then I would say it is the input bearing. Changed alot of those years ago.
