Hello! If you have a V6 engine - then the resevoir is located on the right side of (as your facing) the motor, and roughly centered on the engine's side. You will see a cap with a yellow symbol that looks like a steering wheel. If your car is a 4 cylinder - you have an electric steering system, and therefore, no power steering fluid reservoir is present, or necessary.

Hope this helps!

2005 chevy malibu - power steering light comes on & off. No problem with steering. Mechanic told my mother it was in the electronics. I haven't seen the car myself,as I don't live near her. I told her...

thats correct, it does use an electric motor, no more oil or hoses and pumps.it now has modules, sensors, motor and computer to opreate the steering.

We can't locate the power steering fluid resovoir

It may have "electric power steering", depending on what engine you have but you didnt provide that information. If it has a pump, it has a reservoir mounted on it.

Where is the power steering resorvoir on a mazda mpv 1999

If this is the same as my 91 (No MPVs Show for 99) the power steering is located on the passenger side behind the alternator and its a pain to get to if you dont know where it is. Make sure you have it outside in the sun and you will see the filler dipstick. That is where the resovoir is located. Its actually right at the power steering pump location if its like my 91.

If its like the 2000 (or so) its an actual seperate resovoir on the passenger side fenderwell. Its in an obvious place so it you cant find it Im guessing your engine is inline and rear wheel drive like my older MPV and youll find it behind that alternator.

Hope this helps and lf it does dont forget to rate the solution.
