Question about 1999 Ford Taurus
Is there a fuel pump access panel under the rear seat in a 1999 Ford Taurus? Is it necessary to drop the fuel tank to change the fuel pump?
Thanks in Advance!!
You do have to drop the tank, it is not that hard of a process, once you have it down, there will be a ring that you will need to turn, it will loosen the fuel pump, undo the wires and replace. Be carefull when you pull out the pump it will have the float attached that goes to the fuel gauge.
