This is a common problem for the GM vehicles. I would replace the socket that keeps burning out the bulb and use a high quality bulb (Sylvania) and some bulb grease. This should give you alot of bulb life. Go to your local junkyard and clip the signal light bulb wire from the same car (I see the Buick Century in my local junkyard all of the time) Rewire the wiring from the donor vehicle to your car and see if that stops the problem.

My signal lights in my dash both light up when i apply the breaks and only works when i let go of the breaks

Usually this is a short in one of the sockets that holds the bulb, your brake lights are back feeding power causing your turn indicators to glow on dash when you hit the brakes and will stop the turn signal from flashing when you step on the brake pedal also. Start with sockets on rear and look for any shorted or blackened socket ends.

If the bulb socket is melted you will want to replace the socket then use the socket grease (diaelectric) to keep the bulb socket clean of dirt and moisture. The diaelectric grease will help disipate the heat also.
If the bulb base was melted, you will want to clean the socket thuroughly and make sure no plastic has melted on the contacts causing a bad electrical contact.

You are having problems with grounding issues. Take your turn signals apart and clean the corrosion out of the light sockets. Replace any bulbs that are blackened inside or not clear. When all the light sockets are clean all blinkers should work/flash correctly.

The bulb socket, socket housing or headlight wiring is shorting to ground somewhere, check for bare or burned wiring.

Front passenger turn signal keeps burning out..

this is usually caused by excessive vibration. That is usually cause by the bulb not being held securely. If it is loose in the socket then there. If it is snug in the socket, then the socket is not being held securely.

Loose lights, rather than moving with the car, develop movement due to the play, reach the end of the play, them come to a really, really abrupt stop.

1998 olds intrigue drivers side signal light keeps burning

It happened to my 98 Intrigue. It stopped as soon as I changed the sockets. It is very simple to do this, just pull it out the the plug from the connector about 4 inches from the socket. I got used ones at the junk yard, 2 bucks a piece. Been working fine for almost 2 years.

Side signal driver side

What your describing sounds like incorrect bulb positioning. If the socket is not located correctly then water can enter the light housing and blow the bulb, sometimes in pieces. This is the only condition that a bulb blows to pieces, when a hot bulb meets water. If needed remove the entire lamp assembly to make sure it is properly located in the socket. Good luck.
