Audio through headphones AND TV simultaneously

My Dynex 32'' plays the sound through the built in speakers as well as my headphones when I connect them to the headphone jack, is this a machine fault?

In a 2004 Lincoln Navigator if you play a DVD but hook headphones up for the sound can you play the radio at the same time

No. The radio uses the same circuits as the DVD audio to get sound to the speakers. The headphones only divert the audio from the speakers to the headphones.

Is there a fuse in the stereo head unit? The head unit works fine and can be seen playing CD's but there is no sound at all.

If unit has head phone output, and the switch that cuts off built in speakers goes bad, it will play headphones but not other speakers.

What seting do i use on the t.v so i can hear souned on the head set and t.v

Usually you can't , the 3.5mm audio jack will take the sounds from speakers , you could go from audio jack in tv put a 3.5 splitter and hook up to speakers and headphones but this will not be the tv speakers if that's what you're looking for

When I play a cd the sound is great but when I listen to music on the radio (FM) it sounds terrible. I have adusted all of the knobs but nothing helps. It sounds to high pitched.

Hi, when you turn on the rear audio button, in the back of the center console, the rear speakers turn off, to enable headphone use in the rear. perhaps this is the issue. Good luck...Coop

Honda Odyssey DVD player sound without the headphones

You can set the sound to play through the car's speakers. If you don't want it too loud in front, you can use the audio setting for the fader to just play in the rear.

Dvd player

If you have a factory DVD player, then while the DVD player is on, press your radio preset numbers' 2 and 4 simultaneously. Then to listen to the CD or radio just press whichever button you want to listen to. You should hear sound out of your front speakers only, and won't interrupt the headphones. Good luck.

When playing a DVD the owner manual says to push the CD/Aux button on the radio to get the DVD sound to play through the cars speakers. This doesn't work. We can only get the DVD sound to come through...

Make sure the headphones are powered off. If you press the CD/AUX button twice the headphone symbol should disappear and it will play through the car speakers.
