I am getting static in my audi a6 cd player. What can I do to fix this problem

What are the problems exactly. You are being to generic.

no u will need to send the deck in for repair, the dealer doesn't sell any parts to repair the deck to the public, only authorized repair stations, the problem is the CD loading mecnanism has a broken part.

Is there a CD inside the CD player? You could try pulling the fuse for the radio (look at the fuse box panel for the exact fuse) and leave it out for 10 secs, then turn the car to the on position and leave for 20-30 secs.. turn the car off and put the fuse back in and then turn the car on and if you;re lucky, the radio will reset... This works for Volkswagens and since Audi is the same company, it should work

This should be plug and play. If it is not working, check your fuse box for a blown fuse. My radio has a CD/CDC button to swithc between in car CD and CD Changer.

It should fit with no Modifications.

either you put a bad cd in it or your laser is messed up.

You should get the 6 case out by inserting manually a credit card sized card to it's side.
Once the case is out manually, take out all the cd's and insert the charger again. Open the radio...it should fix it.
