Question about 2002 Honda Civic
Are transmission problems a known issue with 01' 02' Honda civics? I've read allot of reports about transmissions going out pre-maturely with 01' and 02' Honda Civics? My trans just went out, out of the blue after 115,000 miles.
HI yes they are and if you are notorious. find a good low mileage Japanese for around 300.00 -500.00 6month warranty they work great and you will save big dollars

Sounds like a distributor or timing issue, a common issue
with these cars sometimes. Our Civic LX was giving us the same codes, We
replaced the distributor and reset the timing... problem resolved. Not sure
about the 2005 Civic year model, the ignition system may have changed with the
