What type of engine do you have. It should be on the back of the manifold to the right of the coil packs if its a 3.1 SFI.

Where the transmission dip stick

Hi on most vehicles the transmission dip stick is located at the transmission area, under the hood look for the fan belt, on most it will be on your left hand side facing the front of vehicle, then look to your right and you will see a tube from the transmission with a clip arrangement holding the dip stick in place, carefully push the clip back just enough to release the dipstick, Read your owner manual as incorrect reading or wrong oil can damage the transmission, very expensive to repair some units, if not sure go to your nearest service agent, hope this helps, P

Transmission warning light coming on,possible problems are low oil pressure or no oil pressure how do i check which one it is and fix it? Thankyou

If you have an Automatic transmission. Lift the hood. Locate the Transmission dip stick. Start the engine and let the engine warm up some. then check the fliud level on the dip stick. On a Manual Transmission, locate the transmission under the vehicle and the fill plug (upper) and drain plug (lower) on the transmission. Remove the fill plug (upper) and see if fluid runs out. If no fluid runs out, add recommeded transission fluid until the fluid starts running out, the replace fill plug..

I am trying to find my dip tick on a 2000 Izusu trooper 3.5 I have look under the hood of my Izusu trooper, near the oil dip stick, on the other side of the engine, towards the back passages side toward...

what kind of dip stick??? Transmission. No dip stick as tranny is a sealed system. U cannot add any fluid or check levels. U need a special machine to pump it in. Well....actually I jimmy rigged a hand pump to refill mine after I acidentally drained it thinking I had found the oil pan! Believe it or not I am not the only one who has pulled off that ******** move.

Where do I add transmission fluid for my 1999 Suzuki Grand Vitari?

You'll have two dip sticks under your hood on the engine. One will be for oil the other for tansmission fluid. You can tell you have the transmission because the fluid is a bright redish color where as the oil should be clearish or black, Denpending on your last oil change. The dip sticks are usually on opisit sides or the engine from eachother but could be on the same side. To check your transmission fluid then you need the emergency brake on and the car in neutral and the motor running. On the dip stick there is notches or tiny lines telling you how much is in it. Here;s a very important point to remember. Transmissipon fluid is checked and measured by pints unlike the oil dip stick which is in quarts. So the marks on the dip stick for the tranny will be one pint per mark. To add transmission fluid they sell a skinny long tube funnel that goes directly into the stem that holds the dip stick. You must shut the engine off to add the fluid and restart it in neutral to recheck it. I hope I have been of some service to you and please be kind with your thumbs up for me. good Luck, Raz

Where is transmission oil located in the car?

do you mean..dip stick? oil filter? or something like that?

if it is a manual transmission they have a filler hole rather than a dip stick.........

if it is a automatic transmission the dip stick should be located under the hood in the right side "passengers side" or in the drivers side if it is a front wheel drive car....

Under the hood

its a short stick on the passnger side of the engine compartment. if you look down from behind the passenger side headlight you cant miss it. its red or orange in color.

honda made it so small because they didnt want people to mistake it for the oil dipstick, nor did they want the average consumer to bother the transmission

Cant find transmission stick

if it is a manual transmission it might not have a dip stick....

you have to get under the car find the transmission oil filler gap... it is ussualy plug that can be removed with a ratchet...

stick your finger in there to make sure that the oil level is close to the opening.....it is....then it is cool

if it needs some look for the right kind...

you might also want to check how dirty the oil is....

hope this helps.>!! XD
