Question about 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2WD
My cargo light on my 2002 chevy 2500hd goes on and off while I am driving. The light on the dash comes on as well. There is a buzzing noise under the passenger side dash, and the a/c blower goes off while the cargo light is on then comes back on afterewards. The light goes on for about a second and then goes off. It does this about 3 times every 5 minutes or so.
Look for grounding problems, that is the most common issue with multiple, seemingly unrelated symptoms.

There are known issues with the gauges on the 03 silverado. Even though the cages appear analog, they are stepper motor controlled by the computer. This is a fancy way of saying digital. Check with the dealer about a recall! Since all gauges appear to have quit at one time I would agree with a previous post that the computer program is flawed. It may need to be reset - again check with the dealer.

Have a friend, (or in-law) someone you're not too fond of, stand in front of the truck while you honk the horn and have them pinpoint it for you.

check power steering fluid. first. if all good . power steering is going. your hydro boost brake system depends on the power steering pump if it goes out your brake go out.

It is on the passenger side, you have to remove the black plastic kick plate, below the glove box, to expose it (held in place with 2 latches and 1 push pin). The resistor is in front of the blower motor ( sandwiched between the motor housing and the firewall) it is tricky to get to, i think when i changed mine i didnt replace all the screws as they were difficult to remove and even harder to replace. Good Luck, Mike

the sensor is on the side of the engine block. there's two thing that monitors oil. a pressure switch turns you oil light on and you oil pressure sensor the operates your gauge, start with your sensor. that is near you oil filter that is where it gets it pressure reading from
