the users guide partially and for sure the SM service manual covers that. so it blows out right.?
that is a 1998 TJ jeep
real name if USA
i have real oEM book here, on it , fully
chapter 8w is wiring all
8w-10- is power distribution
there are 2 fuse 19 , one under hood and one cab.
so hood it is
Left hand drive, USA, LHD
the PDC fuse box has lid and F19 is marked there
A/c clutch]
first is F19>> clutch relay>>> AC clutch
Which fuse ? A/C compressor fuse 10 amp. located in the under hood fuse box ? If this is the fuse the A/C compressor clutch is drawing to many amps . too much current flow . Need new compressor clutch . Have it checked , unless you know how to do current draw test .
this fuse probably controls the ac clutch operation and/or the blower fan motor.. Disconnect the ac clutch at the connection next to the clutch pack behind the pulley. fit new fuse and if it blows then the problem will be in the fan motor control/ motor. If not then it will be the ac compressor clutch pack
on a hot day it will blow warm/hot air if the AC is turned off or not working
If its hot air and AC is working then i would start by checking the fuse or relay. if its not the fuse/relay then i would look into the heater box there is a door that blocks the hot air
probably have a bad compressor clutch coil. unpug the compressor and then turn on the ac if the fuse does not blow the problem is the clutch coil, if it still blows you will need a wiring diagram to sort it out.
Your problem is the air temp control blend door actuator is defective and not controlling temp u set. to change/access this part the dash assembly must be removed from the car.
The conector for the a/c compressor comes with a diode that keeps power from returning after the compressor cycles off. Check or replace the connector/and or diode and see if that fixes the problem
