IF you have used a genuine unit as replacement it may not be necessary but usually when there is a fault code reading it stays permanent until the cpu is reset by a code reader.

I have a 1998 Isuzu Rodeo, it is reading the PO401 and PO 336. I have changed the EGR Value and the crankshaft sensor (3) times, and when it is cold (below 40) the rodeo won't start, and I put an electic...


I would be looking for a ECU at scrap yards; it sounds a lot like the error codes themselves are in 'error' since you have done your duty replacing those items. The fact that warming the cab seems to help, kind of points to something in the cab and the ECU could be under your dashboard.

If you locate one, ask them if they will mark it somehow and refund your money if it makes no difference. Without having specialized equipment, it will be tough to diagnose the computer.
