Question about 2005 Renault 18I
We have a 2005 Renault megane 1.6 dynamic and the petrol filler flap is stuck in the locked position.Any ideas how to get it unocked? Please note the model and year, not as stated in the product box
Sounds like the solenoid is defective, but the petrol cap can be opened by opening the boot and putting your hand down the side of the back panel (petrol cap side). You should be able to feel the solenoid and on the back there is a lever that can be pulled out which will release the petrol cap latch.

The solenoid controlling the petrol filler flap is defective. You must get
a mechanic who is knowledgeable about Renault cars to do the job.
