Hello Mike, I suspect you have a bad multi-function switch that operates your headlights, tail lights, turn signals, wipers and washers.

I have a dodge intrepid Es, the indicator sometime works and then just freezes. The windshild wripers sometimes have a speed of their own and the high beams don't stay clicked on. I have a feeling there is...

You have a faulty multi-function switch, it controls the turn signal/hazard, headlight beam selector and the wiper/washer switch.

Also, for the frozen turn signal ligths, need to replace the flasher unit located under left end of the instrument panel. Need to remove under panel cover to access it. It is rectangular in chape and black in color.

Good Luck!!!

On a 2002 dodge ram 1500 truck the brake lights and the turn signals and winshield wipers dont work the only brake light that works is above the cab. and the turn signal flashes on the dash like they are...

I suspect a bad multi function switch located in the left hand side of the steering column. This switch controls your high/low beams/wiper delay/windshield washer/turn signals and hazards.

1996 Dodge Intrepid Wiring Schematics for the signal light - Signal lights and wipers do not work and I bought the part (switch) and it still does not work.

check for bad flasher, or lost ground. if not pull the entire light assembly off the vehicle and there is a clipped in plastic plate in the back of the rear assembly that houses the bulbs. this plate has metal bars that run thorough the inside of it to control the individual bulbs..IE some work, others dont. what happens is the plastic plate gets too hot and disloges the bars, or causes corrosion and bingo no lights. the plates are a common problem for the chrysler mid size cars, mostly the taillight assembly. hope I helped

How to take out a 1999 dodge Intrepid engine 2.7L? Is it from the front right wheel? Is there any way to take out from top?

A 2.7 ENGINE CAN BE REMOVED FROM TOP OF ENGINE COMPARTMENT..REMOVE UPPER RAD SUPPORT,AND RAD FANS.REMOVE WIPER ARMS AND AND COWL COVERS AND WIPER LINKAGE AND CROSS BAR..USUALLY GIVES LOTS OF ROOM TO DISCONNECT ENGINE FROM TRANS..BELLHOUSING BOLTS ARE USUALLY REALLY TIGHT COMING OUT..ENGINE WILL CLEAR RAD QUITE NICELY..PUT A PIECE OF CARDBOARD BETWEEN RAD AND ENGINE SO PULLEY WILL NOT DAMAGE RAD..I HOPE THIS HELPS

Headlights and foglights dont work.Checked fuses and replaced

I had the same problem. The solution to this is something called the turn signal/highbeam switch, located in your steering column. This switch has an actuator of some sort that goes bad after a while. It doesn't allow the actuator to turn back into regular headlight mode, instead disabling it. I went to my local junkyard and replaced it. Everything works now.
