1997 GC Jeep, 4.0 L . Keeps blowing fuel pump fuses. Told that 20 amp was recommended.


You should always replace fuses with the same rated fuse as the one removed. Most likely if it keeps blowing the same fuse something in that circuit is directly shorted out.What fuse is it that keeps popping?

My 97 grand cherokee is not getting any voltage to the coil already checked the asd


You may have a bad crank sensor or PCM, or ignition module. Or you may have a ign or PCM fuse that popped.

Change the fuse for the correct size AMP.

If it is the fuse for major engine control electronics that is blowing (PCM, etc.) as soon after energizing, try disconnecting the O2 sensors. The 12V heater in the sensor could be shorting to ground.

The fuse ecm b it tied to the fuel pump, PCM, and VCM.
Fuel pump could have an internal short
check it by the way...
