SOURCE: The horn in my 2003 crown victoria won't shut off,

The horn is located on drivers side in between the finder and head light. jack the car up and look from under the car. Also the horn might be stuck at the streeing wheel try pushing it a few times this might free it up. Don't pull the fuse unless you know what else it runs.

SOURCE: fix this please

NO. Your Horn is the #16 Fuse and your cruise control is your #17. Unless Both of those fuses are broken. it would be your steering well and in that case follow the advice of oda. Could also be something "Lodged" in the steering well too, weird huh? i thought so. but ya, the horn and cruise control are two seperate fuses. for the Ford Crown Victoria models of these models.. (And also the Mercury Grand Marquis too)

After starting car, horn will sound for few seconds, then stop, pulled horn relay F0AB14B192AA hit horn it worked. guess i have to download owners manual following horn circuit

Is it possible that the fault might be related to a malfunction of the anti theft system perhaps, sounds like an odd issue. Maybe the services of a good auto electrician with Ford experience might help you trace the problem if your own efforts do not resolve it.

Good Luck

I have 2008 crown victoria formally police car , horn not working, how I get back to work

Usually, the horn is powered all the way to the horn switch, where the ground wire is connected to the ground. The thing to check is this, or to ground one side (preferably not the live side) of the horn to test this.

Horn does not work 97 crown victoria

FIRST I WOULD CHECK THE HORN FUSE OR RELAY ...CHECK YOUR OWNERS MANUEL TO SEE FOR LOCATION PROBABLY UNDER HOOD IN A RELAY STATION BOX.IF THOSE ARE GOOD..THEN POSSIBLE BAD HORN ITSELF OR BAD CONTACT BEHIND THE DRIVER AIRBAG,STEERING WHEEL.

I have 1999 Crown Victoria that the horn is not working i've checked the fuse & replaced the relay and still nothing.

try bypassing it with a wire from the + cable of the battery. if it works, your problem is elsewhere like in the steering wheel, broken or loose connection. if it doesn't work, replace the horn

If your horn doesnt work either you have to remove the steering wheel and there is the connector for the horn/cruise control. If nothing broken there, check the clock spring too!
