Does the lancer have two catalytic converters? If so, is there a picture or a diagram of where it is please. Thanks!

HI. This vehicle should be equipped with a 4 cylinder power plant, which only will need one catalytic converter unit. It is connected to the main exhaust pipe, after the exhaust manifold.

Sounds like you may still have a charging issue. Most auto parts chain stores will check this for free. You should have the charging system checked.
