Question about 1988 Volkswagen Cabriolet
I have a 1996 vw cabrio that has a high oil pressure with gages applied to the motor while idling it's at 80 pounds, at 3000 rpms it pegs out and the buzzer comes on.The oil pump has been changed out 3 times, and filter and oil has been changed. he has used a thin oil. sensors have been changed. Any good ideas. Where are all the sensors located?

SOURCE: high oil pressure
You can't go by the gage on the dash, you need to hook up a manifold gage to get an accurate reading. Did you check the oil filter bypass valve AKA oil relief valve?
