You cannot get it unstuck....you have to replace it. usually the thermostat is under ten dollars and the gasket is under 3 dollars and if i recall, they are easy to fix

How do you know the radiator is plugged up

You will have temperature issues such as the temp getting high, even on a cool day. Look at the condition of the radiator from the top and see if the coolant reveals any clues. Without getting into the radiator to check, it's hard to diagnose. Some issues can be caused by a bad thermostat that will also cause signs of overheating but then the temperature gauge will plunge if a stuck thermostat comes unstuck.

Hyundai Tucson a/c starts out cold air then starts to blow hot air then goes back to cold air

The issue you describe can be caused by several possible conditions. The best advice I can offer is take the vehicle into an authorized Hyundai Service Department to have it properly diagnosed.
The worse thing about chasing parts is you may or may not just get lucky on the repair. Then again you may end up shelling out $100's of bucks before you actually hit on the cause.
Possible Causes
1. Malfunctioning thermostat in the evaporator - monitors evaporator temperature so it doesn't freeze over.
2. Malfunctioning A/C control head (panel)
3. System is possibly UNDERcharged (insufficient refrigerant)
4. Malfunctioning Tripple Switch (the switch monitors pressure in the system: i.e., if pressure is too high, it will shut down the A/C; if pressure is too LOW, it will shut down the A/C) If this switch is malfunctioning, it can cause the symptom you describe.
5. Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor malfunction - if the sensor is lying, telling the engine computer that the temperature of the engine is above 230 degrees, the computer will shut down the A/C.
This is why you should have the problem properly diagnosed.
Hope this helps.

I started my 1999 chevy silverado 5.3 liter this morning, 30 mins later i see a puddle underneath the truck and its running hot, its a steady drip. Also the heater has not been working right. Can anyone...

sounds like you have a coolant leak, if coolant is low it will cause both of your symtoms as to where it is coming from, there are many places but common ones are hoses/clamps, water pump or radiator.

The car keeps overheating and the coolant and water level are fine. i dont know what else it could be

Thermostat could be stuck closed - put your hand on the hoses (after the engine has been running a bit) and check if one is cold. If one is cool to the touch - the water pump has failed - or the thermostat is failed (stuck) shut (supposed to fail open).

Radiator fans inoperable - check the fuse and relay.

Head gasket failure - would need to be checked via piston pressure check.

Thanks for using FixYa - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FERE question.

My car door won't shut and lock. How can i get it

You may need a new latch assembly. Tr y prying a screwdriver in the old lock to see if it will fully closed upon forcing it. If it does latch you do need a new one. They generally wear out if the door hinges need attention or replaced. If the hinges are not tended too in about a year the latch wears out too

How can a new thermostat be stuck open and if my heater core is leaking, would that really cause no pressure in the radiator hose.

it would not affect leaking all its doing is constantly circulating, if the core is leaking its just sprung a leak replace it. open you cap when hot bet theres pressure.no dont really dangerous?VERY HOT.

Car leaks a lot of antireeze near front of engine

It sounds like a bad water pump. Start by checking hose first. then check thermostat gasket , then check water pump. Replace radiator cap. It is not releasing pressure causing the pressure to find the weakest point somewhere else.
