Question about 1997 Chevrolet Lumina
Problems with the headlights - the day lights only come on AFTER it's shifted into gear - just running lights - no night beams - help
This happened to me twice. The problem is the Headlamp Dimmer and Turn Signal Switch. $92 at advance auto and easy to change. Start by removing a couple of bolts on the bottom side of the column to gain access by removing the column plastic shroud. you will see a couple screws holding in the turn signal/headlight switch and a plug. Easy stuff. Here is a link to the part you need. http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_Headlamp-Dimmer-and-Turn-Signal-Switch-ACDelco_15730096-P_403_R%7CGRPSESWAMS_994542117___
